Community Guidelines

Purpose

FeedbackQueue is a peer review exchange built on mutual respect. These guidelines ensure every member gets honest, useful, and constructive feedback.

Writing a Great Review

  • Be specific. Instead of “the UI is bad,” explain what confused you and suggest an improvement.
  • Use the product first. Actually try the product as a real user would — sign up, click around, test the core workflow — before scoring anything.
  • Score honestly. A 5/5 review that says “looks great!” is less valuable than a thoughtful 3/5 that explains what could be improved.
  • Write at least 80 characters in your text summary. Short one-liners will be flagged by our AI quality gate.
  • Add screenshots. They help project owners see exactly what you experienced.
  • Provide actionable fixes. The “Top 3 Fixes” section exists for a reason — use it to suggest real improvements.

Understanding Scores

  • 1 — Fundamentally broken or unusable
  • 2 — Major issues that prevent core usage
  • 3 — Average, works but has clear room for improvement
  • 4 — Good, polished with only minor issues
  • 5 — Exceptional, delightful experience

What the Voting System Means

In the feed, you’ll see Upqueue and Downqueue buttons on each project:

  • Upqueue boosts a project’s visibility so more reviewers see it. Use this when a project looks interesting and deserves attention.
  • Downqueue lowers a project’s priority. Use this if a project appears spam-like, is clearly unfinished, or violates the guidelines.

AI Quality Gate

Every review is evaluated by our AI for effort and detail. Reviews that are too short, generic, or copy-pasted will receive a low AI quality score. Extremely low-effort reviews may need revision before submission. The project owner always makes the final approval decision.

Prohibited Behavior

  • Submitting fake, spam, or AI-generated-only reviews
  • Creating multiple accounts to farm credits
  • Harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks in reviews
  • Submitting NSFW or illegal content as projects
  • Gaming the voting system with alt accounts
  • Soliciting positive reviews in exchange for credits or money

Enforcement

Violations may result in removal of reviews, loss of credits, or permanent account suspension. If you believe a review or project violates these guidelines, please reach out through our support page.

These guidelines supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
